Autonomous vehicles is one of the important sustainable solutions for future urban mobility. The main purpose of Singapore's autonomous driving R&D and pilot is, firstly, to establish Singapore's world leading position in autonomous driving operations and end-to-end system solution providers, and secondly, to cope with the manpower shortage in the future. Since 2015, Singapore has started autonomous driving pilots.
