Singapore Infrastructure Project: Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant

The Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant (KMEDP) was opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in early February this year. Desalination is one of the four "faucets" in Singapore to solve the problem of water shortage. Since 2005, four desalination plants have been put into use. The fourth one is KMEDP, which started construction in 2017, put into operation in June 2020, and officially opened on February 4, 2021.

新加坡基础设施项目：吉宝滨海东海水淡化厂
吉宝滨海东海水淡化厂今年2月初由李显龙总理开幕。海水淡化是新加坡解决水源短缺问题的四大“水龙头”之一，从2005年至今已有四座海水淡化厂投入使用。第四座就是吉宝滨海东海水淡化厂，于2017年开始建设、2020年6月投入运作，2021年2月4日正式开幕。
